About Us
Pine Lodge opened in 2008 as a Residential Care facility here in Buffalo, MO and was operated by Randy and Sue Gunter until fall of 2022. Marcus and Chelsey Ownby, lifelong residents of Dallas County, purchased the lodge from the Gunter’s in September of 2022.
Marcus and Chelsey currently operate the day to day tasks of the Lodge along with their amazing staff team, striving to provide the most excellent healthcare service to each individual who resides there. Chelsey has an extensive background in working with the senior population, graduating from SBU in 2008, and then working in management with long term care facilities prior to purchasing the Lodge. She and her husband, Marcus, have 2 children(Kinsley and Judson) ; they reside on their family farm right outside of Buffalo. This has been a lifelong dream for Chelsey to operate a facility designed to give back to those who gave so much and to be a part of this great community! God has blessed them and their goal is that each person who walks through the doors at the Lodge is blessed in some way.
